MX, made of aluminum-oxide grain impregnated in a laminated, cotton fiber with a neoprene bond, provides one of the best materials for quickly deburring and polishing metals. A range of grits and hardnesses are available to suit a wide variety of applications.

Coarser grits remove more material, while the finer grits produce smoother finishes. The hard bond will grind more aggressively and last longer, while the medium bond yields a slightly better finishing and blending capability. The most popular combination is a medium 120 grit. MX wheels are used extensively for deburring metal parts and polishing mold runners. Don't be fooled by imitations. Additional sizes available upon request.
