NSK MSS-20 Series Air Spindle

This NSK MSS-20 Series Air Motor Spindle incorporates a specially designed 30,000 rpm air motor.  The {8,000 and 2,000 min (rpm)} versions also utilize a high-precision small planetary gear speed reducer system which provides high torque, high outpower and excellent durability. 8,000 min (rpm): 1/4 motor speed reduction, Torque is 4 times greater than the motor torque. 2,000 min (rpm): 1/16 motor speed reduction, Torque is 16 times greater than the motor torque. The NSK MSS-20 series motor spindle is designed to be mounted in a ø0.79" holder.  This greatly extends the capabilities of existing NC and CNC lathes and also makes them very easy to incorporate in the design of special purpose machinery.
