NSK Nakanishi Planet Series High-Speed Air Jig Grinding Spindles

The NSK Nakanishi Planet series are compact pneumatic spindles that can transform a standard milling machine, etc. into a jig grinder by simply attaching a boring head along with the PL600 spindle. On a lathe, these grinding heads can be used as a precision internal grinder. Special high-speed ball bearings withstand long continuous hours of operation. These spindles exhibit excellent performance for a relatively low cost.

CAUTION - The Planet series spindles are designed to operate smoothly at high speeds for long hours of continuous grinding when coupled with an appropriately adjusted air line kit (filter/regulator/micro-mist oiler). We highly recommend using the manufacturer's air line kit, as this item includes a special micro-mist (atomizing) lubricator not usually found on most commercially available air line kits. Use only the manufacturer’s recommended low viscosity spindle lube oil – Chevron Superla 9.
