Tweezers for handling miniature and micro-miniature parts and assemblies,tweezers are as essential as the fingers on your hand, There are definite differences in their patterns. Oint finish and the materials used make some patterns more suitable for a particular job than others. The tweezers listed below, are manufactured by Peer-Vigor (made in Switzerland for Grobet USA) and Grobet USA (great value - made for Grobet in the USA).
The Chart below shows general property relationships among the various metals used in manufacturing tweezers. In addition, note that the points of the harder metals will wera longer and are less subject to bending. The Softer metals will not scratch delicate parts and usally have desirable properties such as being non-magnetic etc.

Pattern #1 thru Pattern #15A (see other listing).

Pattern #AA: For assembly, inspection, sorting, soldering, etc. of small parts. a non glare black oxidized finish is available in this pattern and solder will not adhere to this finish. Overall length is 4¾" (121mm).
Pattern #BB: Hollow light tension points. Overall length is 4½" (114mm).
Pattern #GG: Pointed, identical shanks. Overall length is 5-1/8" (130mm).
Pattern #HH: Thick short shanks are the main feature of this short tweezer. Overall length is 4½" (114mm).
Pattern # MM: Similar to pattern AA, but heavier. The shanks are slighty longer and the corner of the handle has been rounded. Overall length is 5" (127mm).
Pattern #AM: Non-magnetic Brass version of pattern #MM. Excellent for handling parts that scratch easily. Overall length is 5" (127mm).
Pattern #NN: Shorter version of pattern #MM. Overall length is 4½" (114mm).
Pattern #OO: Similar to pattern #NN with square end. Overall length is 4½" (114mm).
Pattern #RR: Hefty, heavy-duty tweezers with wide shanks and points similar to those on pattern #AA. The shanks and handle are extra thick. Overall length is 5½" (140mm).
